3 Tips to be more productive in Life
Less is more is my mantra for life.
It is debatable whether doing less can increase productivity. Many people believe that multitasking is necessary for productivity.
I disagree.
Identifying the key factors that increase your outcomes by 10x makes you more productive than the rest of the world.
In this article, I will share three simple yet significant things with you.
- Understand the 80/20 Rule
Roughly 80 % of the results come from 20% of tasks.
It means identifying the most important tasks in a day and completing them first thing in the morning yields the highest outcomes.
This approach is also known as “Eat That Frog,” which means tackling the most challenging and crucial task of the day first thing in the morning.
2. Identify what is your worth per hour
Time is Money!!!
Calculating your hourly rate makes you value your free time.
Delegate the tasks which are way lower than your hourly rate so you utilize the free time on what’s worth more.
Automating repetitive tasks can save time in the long run. It’s helpful to have a system in place for routine tasks.
3. Build your tribe
Research by Harvard University and the Carnegie Foundation has concluded that 85% of job success comes from having strong soft and people skills, while only 15% comes from technical knowledge and skills.
Building soft skills and networking is the best use of your time.
Surround yourself with productive, growth-minded people.
